On Sunday 14th June our new Curate, Emma Herd, was ordained Deacon by the Bishop of Edinburgh at St Mary’s Cathedral. A mini bus full of St Peter’s and St John’s members travelled up for the service which was a wonderful, joyful celebration. Emma joins us from St Peter’s, Peebles, along with her husband Graeme and will start on Sunday 2nd August although she has been along to Messy Church and Braw Lads to get the ball rolling!
