Bringing Faith to Life
All are welcome to join us – old and new friends, all ages, and stages of life.
Our Vision
Jesus said that he came to this earth so that people ”might have life and have it abundantly”. We are a small church of less than perfect people trying to find out what that promise might look like in our day to day lives, in Galashiels, and in our damaged and complicated world. All are welcome to join us – old and new friends, all ages, and stages of life.
Our Style
Here are our characteristics as a church.
- We appreciate beauty in words and music, in our building and in creation.
- We connect with God through communion and community.
- Our worship is structured, liturgical and biblical.
- We follow the pattern of the seasons – Advent and Christmas, Lent and Easter, Pentecost and Harvest.
- We appreciate quiet space and joyful interaction.
- A chat over tea & coffee afterwards is part of the “service”.
- We care for each other.
- We welcome everybody.
We are part of the Scottish Episcopal Church and are an “Our Futures Initiative” of the Edinburgh Diocese.
